Solar heat is totally renewable, pollution free and requires little or no technology. It is here today and could provide up to 50% of domestic space and water heating requirements. This book explains the principles of using solar energy for domestic heating. One or several aspects of solar energy can be incorporated into house design or renovation and this manual is a basic course in conservation and sustainable house design and invaluable in a house in which space heating is required for most of the year.
