EC Climate Roadmap

The European Commission (EC) has now published its EC Climate Roadmap for moving to a competitive low carbon economy in 2050 - view it at http://ec.europa.eu/clima/documentation/roadmap/index_en.htm. Connie Hedegaard, the EU climate change commissioner, has included in the report's conclusions a proposal that the EU could potentially raise its current targets on domestic emissions cuts from 20% to 25% by 2020.
