The International Energy Agency (IEA) has released a roadmap for reducing carbon emissions from transport, writes Keith Nuthall. It suggests a 50% improvement by 2030 for new light-duty vehicles, improved urban development and public transport investment. This would be followed by ‘a revolution in technology…built on some combination of electricity, biofuels and hydrogen’.
