Centrica is understood to have extended its agreement with Drax Group, under which Drax will now provide an additional 300 MW of baseload power to the British Gas parent company. The new agreement will run for a five-year period from October 2010 and is in addition to the existing 600-MW supply contract which commenced in October 2007.
