The Thanet wind farm will milk us of billions

Over the coming years the wind farm's owners will get £1.2 billion in subsidies, a sum which could, invested now in a nuclear power station, produce 13 times more electricity with greater reliability. Developer, Vattenfall, said, the farm's capacity is 300MW of electricity, enough to 'power' 200,000 homes, only possible in reality if the wind is blowing at the right speeds.
