BP oil spill fears hit North Sea as Norway bans drilling.

Although Britain ruled out a moratorium on deep water exploration, Norway said it had sufficient concerns to halt all new drilling until a full inquiry is conducted into the cause of BP's leak. The move will pressurize the British Government into putting the North Sea under more scrutiny as Britain's energy minister said he wanted deep drilling off the Shetland Islands to go ahead, despite concerns about industry safety standards.
