Shell expects global demand for liquified natural gas to rise by at least 60% in the next decade, with China the main consumer. Despite strong demand growth, prices for the super-cooled and compressed gas are under pressure by a growing number of suppliers battling for position in Asia, the world's biggest LNG market.
