RJB plans to usher in green coal era

A new generation of green coal mines may be opened in Britain's devastated pit areas under a plan prepared by the industry's dominant company RJB Mining. Three sites in Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire have been earmarked for development if the firm can extract funding from the government for experimental coal-fired power stations using 'clean' technology which matches the environmental standards of gas and oil.
