Co-operation on $230m Mexican pipeline
Sempra Energy, Pacific Gas & Electric and Mexico's Proxima Gas said on Monday they would build a $230m, 212-mile natural gas pipeline to meet energy demand in Baja California, Mexico. The North Baja Pipeline, which would connect two of San Diego-based Sempra's existing natural gas projects - a utility in Mexicali and a pipeline from San Diego to Rosarito - would further link Mexican and North American energy markets.
