UK MINNOW SEEKS UK LISTING TO PURSUE EXPLORATION TARGETS
UK-based exploration and production company Egdon Resources is to seek a London listing on the Ofex stock exchange within the coming few weeks. Up to 25% of the currently privately held company will be placed on Ofex, valuing the company at Stg2m. Egdon has onshore assets in the UK and France and is seeking cash to drill five wells over the coming four years, with the company's costs carried through to testing or abandonment. Egdon won its UK assets in the recently completed ninth round of onshore licencing and now needs Stg500,000 to fulfill its upstream commitments to the UK government. In France, Egdon is working with Canadian independent and field operator Bow Valley to explore a 600,000 acre concession in the Paris Basin.
