Hybrid projects connect two countries to one wind farm
Europe’s wind energy industry is now operating the first ‘hybrid’ offshore wind farms that connect the electricity grids of two different countries. Energy World asked Iván Pineda of trade association WindEurope to explain this innovation as part of plans to massively expand wind power on the continent.
