Costain Carbon Manager scoops Energy and Carbon Leader award
Determined efforts in the hard-to-decarbonise field of construction have been recognised by Energy Institute (EI) in awarding the prestigious Energy and Carbon Leader of the Year Award to Lara Young, Group Carbon Manager at Costain. Facing tough competition, the judges said they were ‘blown away by Lara’s sheer determination’. She has been the driving force behind establishing and implementing Costain's Climate Change Action Plan to become a net zero organisation by 2035 at the latest.
