Centrica signs long-term LNG supply deal with Shenergy

Centrica has agreed a binding 15-year sales and purchase agreement (SPA) to supply 0.5mn t/y of LNG to Shenergy in China. Deliveries are expected to commence in 2024.

The SPA follows a heads of agreement that was concluded in January 2020 and represents the first long-term supply contract for Centrica in China, one of the fastest growing LNG markets in the world.
