In Switzerland, the first 10 units of the Hyundai Motor Company’s XCIENT 190 kW fuel-cell trucks have been introduced. The range with a single charge of hydrogen is approximately 400 km, and the refuelling time from 8 to 20 minutes. Eventually, 1600 units are to be supplied by 2025.
Meanwhile 18 European organisations have formed the European Clean Trucking Alliance in order to meet the EU emissions targets of 2030 and 2050.
