Shell become latest oil firm to make a carbon neutrality pledge, Energy World, May 2020, p 4
In UK/Netherlands, Shell has joined the companies promising carbon neutrality by or before 2050, via renewable power, biofuels and hydrogen. Although generally welcomed, the criticism remains that drilling for new oil and gas should cease.
