In Singapore, the Aerospace Technology Leadership Forum (SATLF) predicted the following developments in aircraft propulsion:
- Small (1 - 4 pax & flying taxis) - battery
- Business & Commuting (9 - 19 pax) - battery and hybrid electric
- Regional (30 - 90 pax) - hybrid electric
- Large (70 - 800 pax) - turbo and hybrid electric
There will also be a need for plentiful alternative fuels, of the bio, sustainable and electrofuels (e-fuels) created synthetically from carbon and hydrogen
