K Sarsfield, Equator charges up electric ambitions, Flight International, 5-11 May 2020, p 18
In Norway, Equator Aircraft is developing a number of eclectically propelled amphibious aircraft, starting with a two-seater in 2018. A stretched version labelled the X4 is under construction, incorporating the ENCORE 75 kWh Li-ion battery pack feeding a 120 kW motor, giving a range of 550 km. An eight-seater version is planned for 2030.
