E10 petrol: UK to standardise higher ethanol blend, The Guardian, 4 March 2020

In UK, the government has announced its intention to increase the content of bioethanol from 5 to 10% in motor gasoline in 2021, which should reduce the emissions of CO2 by about 750 000 tonnes, and has set up a consultation. The consequent problems of fuel system corrosion etc. will be avoided only in cars built since 2011.
