Are you keeping your skills and knowledge up to date?

A commitment to learning and development is all part of what being a professional means in the modern world, so everyone who joins the EI is expected to make an ongoing commitment to maintaining and developing their competence under the EI’s Code of Professional Conduct.

In early April we will email a selection of our professional registrants requesting the submission of their CPD record covering 2019. Everyone who is selected will receive feedback, and we aim to provide individual feedback to as many of our members as possible.

Recording your CPD is very straightforward and if you are selected, we’ll provide you with full information. In the meantime, you can visit the EI website for details of the CPD requirements that apply to your registration. You can also download the CPD record form and our guide “The best you can be” (https://www.energyinst.org/__data/assets/pdf_file/0004/547987/Best-you-can-be-CPD-guide.pdf) which provides you with some help and advice.

If you want somewhere to record your CPD, try our online recording tool mycareerpath, which has been recently updated https://www.energyinst.org/membership-and-careers/mycareerpath . Need assistance – email us at cpd@energyinst.org
