Senior industry figures have been sharing their tips for career success and insights into the energy sector with the upcoming generation of young professionals, at the latest Young Professionals Network (YPN) Connect events.

The London and Home Counties YPN Connect event in March was attended by EI President Elect and former Head of National Grid Steve Holliday FREng FEI, EI Vice President and renowned chemist Dr Bernie Bulkin FEI and EI Chief Executive Louise Kingham OBE FEI.

Meanwhile, young professionals at the EI Nigeria YPN Connect event in April were joined by members of the Nigeria branch committee, including Chairman Osten Olorunsola FEI.

The ‘speed dating’ format of the events gave young professionals the opportunity to talk one-to-one with a succession of senior figures.

YPN events are a great way to connect with like-minded peers, hear from experts from across the energy sector and engage in debates about the big issues facing it. Keep an eye out for YPN events in your area at
