2019 is set to be another busy year for the Energy Institute (EI) in the Middle East, with a continuing focus on sustainability.

In December, the EI will hold its third annual Middle East HSE and Sustainability Forum in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, in collaboration once again with headline sponsor Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC).

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed by EI Chief Executive Louise Kingham OBE FEI and ENOC Chief Executive Saif Humaid Al Falasi FEI at IP Week 2019, marking the continuation of a growing relationship between the two organisations.

Alongside health, safety and the environment, a full day at the Forum will be dedicated to sustainability and energy management, showcasing the EI’s ability to deliver energy efficiency knowledge, competency and good practice in the Middle East.

Also in the UAE, the EI is continuing its partnership with the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Group by judging the Best Energy Management Initiative Award at the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Business Leadership Awards. The deadline for entries is 31 March and more information about the awards can be found at www.adsg.ae/Pages/ADSG-Awards.aspx
