UK Secretary of State for International Trade to speak at IP Week

The Rt Hon Liam Fox MP, Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade, has been confirmed to speak at IP Week 2019, alongside high-profile figures from the world of energy.

Dr Fox will address senior industry leaders at the conference, being held in London between 26–28 February, on his vision for British success in the global energy marketplace. In a conversation moderated by the EI President Malcolm Brinded FREng FEI, Dr Fox will also take questions from delegates in attendance at IP Week.

The Secretary of State joins an impressive line-up of speakers, including Charles O. Holliday, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Royal Dutch Shell plc, who will be the keynote speaker and guest of honour at the IP Week Dinner.

Addressing over 1,000 guests at the prestigious dinner, Mr Holliday will draw on more than forty years of experience in senior industry positions and touch on the importance of industry taking a lead in the energy transition.

Other speakers confirmed for IP Week include Bob Dudley FEI, Group Chief Executive, BP; Dr Pratima Rangarajan, Chief Executive Officer, Oil and Gas Climate Initiative; and Amin Nasser, President and CEO, Saudi Aramco.
