From the editor: Time to address the intractable fuel poverty problem
A UK citizen is ten times more likely to die from living in a cold home than in a road traffic accident, according to fuel poverty charity National Energy Action (NEA). Put a different way, fuel poverty – being unable to afford to live in a warm, dry home – is as big a killer as breast or prostate cancer. And the problem is not going away. Rather, it is getting worse.
