Members: 2019 EI membership subscriptions

November is the time when your annual subscription notice lands on your doormat.

Member subscription fees directly fund our work developing and supporting the knowledge, skills and good practice that are vital in the rapidly changing energy world. We’re delivering for members, industry and wider society in more diverse ways than ever; in fact you can get a flavour of our recent ‘best bits’ in our ‘2018 Highlights’.

The Energy Institute remains one the best value institutions in the engineering and environmental sectors. We keep our fee structure as competitive and affordable as possible, as much for those entering the profession as for our professional members who support us each year.

Changes to fees for 2019 are minimal. Increases are being kept to around 3% and no member will see an increase to their membership subscription of more than £6. However, there is a new annual administration fee for those who hold titles awarded by the EI under license or approval from the EI – such as CEng, CEnv and ESOS Lead Assessor. This reflects the growing administration involved in offering them. But this is a flat fee, regardless of whether you hold just one title through us or several.

Members will receive a reminder by post in the first half of November, followed by an email, unless of course you have been quick off the mark and paid us right away. Direct Debit payments will be taken in early February.
