In the footsteps of Cadman
Dr Dame Angela Strank, Chief Scientist at BP, was awarded the Energy Institute’s prestigious Cadman Award and an Honorary Fellowship in early June. Her lecture entitled ‘In the footsteps of Cadman’ was a personal account of her journey over four decades as a woman in energy and engineering. It also drew parallels between the challenges faced by John Cadman a century ago and today’s transition to a low carbon economy.
