Last look: Marc Height ponders plastic production (and destruction)
I know some people that ran this year’s London marathon, so I headed to a few points along the route to engage with the spectacle. Aside from marvelling at those that still partook in the 22°C event (the hottest on record) in fancy dress – a full Womble outfit looked the most punishing to me – I also thought the race served as a good visual example of our plastic-dominated economy.
