National Energy Skills Center

Established in 1997, the NESC is ISO 9001:2015 certified, non-profit institution with the primary purpose of building human capital through technical vocational training.

The NESC offers a continuum of training from Fundamentals to Craftsman to Diploma programmes across a diverse range including Drilling Trades; Automotive Services; Heavy Equipment repair; Instrumentation; Welding; Pipefitting and Fabrication as well as Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

The NESC develops competencies to support the oil and gas industry in young persons who have graduated from secondary school as well as persons in pursuit of re-training and skill enhancement opportunities as well as employers wishing to upskill persons already embedded in their present workforce
