International Petroleum Week 2018: Re-engineering the oil and gas operating models: an industry in transition

Welcome to the International Petroleum (IP) Week 2018 review, which highlights the key issues, messages and takeaways from IP Week 2018. This year’s conference was held on 20–22 February, and addressed the theme ‘Re-engineering the oil and gas operating models: an industry in transition’.

An impressive line-up of industry experts presented a packed programme to delegates, covering an extensive range of topics both up-, mid- and downstream.

Delegates had their chance to voice their opinions on a number of key questions posed throughout the three-day event. The results of the voting are highlighted throughout this supplement.

Attendees also had the chance to ask questions from the floor during a series of panel sessions, and had extensive networking opportunities during coffee breaks and lunches at the InterContinental Park Lane Hotel in London, which also housed the IP Week exhibition.

We hope you find the content of this supplement interesting and informative, and would encourage you to attend IP Week 2019, which will take place on 19–21 February 2019. Become part of the ongoing debate about how the energy sector can best adapt to meeting the challenges of a low-carbon future.

Non-members can access the supplement via the IP Week website here https://www.ipweek.co.uk/
