Swiss pumped storage scheme doubles in size
Switzerland’s hydroelectric company FMHL has expanded its pumped storage Hongrin-Léman power plant located near Montreux on Lake Geneva and originally built in the 1970s. Here, the company’s Gaël Micoulet, Alain Jaccard and Nicolas Rouge describe the project.
