Regional cooperation for sustainable energy in Asia and the Pacific

Countries need to increase energy supply due to growth in industrialisation and urbanisation; achieve energy security; provide access to electricity for over 420 million people at present without it; shift to using low carbon energy sources to reduce environmental impacts such as air pollution.  This publication analyses the challenges and what is being done to acheive Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7)
