In UK, EasyJet is collaborating with US-based Wright Electric in planning a 291 nm range 8-seat all-electric aircraft for year 2027, based on new energy storage chemistries. Propulsion will be provided by 3 to 8 electric engines on each mainplane. Passenger accommodation is expected to be increased to 180 in the future.
