G Deeke, Engineering extras, Professional Engineering, February 2017, p 48
In UK, Geog Deeke has invented a double-acting piston engine (DICE) of generally conventional design but utilising a combustion stroke on each side of the piston. This has a crankshaft some 50% shorter, resulting in a reduced overall engine mass, and a 45% increase in power.
