New Romanian offshore safety law
Romania has brought into force its new ‘Law on the safety of offshore oil operations’ which sets the minimum requirements necessary to prevent major offshore related accidents and limit their consequences. A new regulatory authority – the Competent Regulatory Authority for the Black Sea Oil Offshore Operations – has also been established.
