Uganda picks PSA companies
Uganda’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development has picked three Nigerian companies – WalterSmithPetroman Oil, Oranto Petroleum International and Niger Delta Petroleum Resources – and Australia’s Armour Energy, to negotiate for production sharing agreements in six exploration blocks covering 3,000km in its next oil exploration licensing round, planned for February 2017.
