Colombia offers 20 blocks in latest licensing round

Colombia’s state oil company Ecopetrol has offered 20 oil and gas blocks for auction as part of a company plan to cut back amid low global oil prices. The auction launch was attended by 138 companies from 21 countries, some of which already operate in the Andean country. The blocks will be sold by electronic auction on 30 September 2016.
