Pertamina signed first upstream deal with Iran

Indonesia’s state energy company Pertamina is scheduled to sign its first upstream deal with Iran. After years of international sanctions that were lifted in January, Iran’s oil infrastructure is in radical need of development. Foreign investors were invited to bid for a host of new contracts in late July/August, Iran’s Deputy Oil Minister Rokneddin Javadi recently told Reuters
