Sustainable Grid Development - SusGrid
SusGrid is an interdisciplinary research project focusing on how knowledge of economic, social and environmental interests can provide good and predictable processes related to formal processing of grid development projects.
The aim of the project is to provide better knowledge that can facilitate improved public acceptance enabling a more consensual realization of local grid projects, partly achieved through:
-Improved planning tools enabling a better and more effective governance structure
-New economic mechanisms promoting both ‘smart’ and sustainable grid development
-New policy instruments enhancing communication and dialogue among stakeholders, citizens and the media
