EPA unveils final methane emissions reguations
The US Environmental Protection Agency is understood to have unveiled final regulations clamping down on methane emissions from new and modified oil and gas infrastructure, a linchpin of the Obama Administration’s efforts to slash methane emissions from the oil and gas sector by 40–45% from 2012 levels by 2025.
