Tesla launches ‘low-cost’ electric car
Elon Musk’s Tesla has launched its anticipated Model 3 sedan – an electric vehicle (EV) that is more affordable than previous Tesla cars and that already has over 325,000 pre orders. The all-electric car will offer a minimum range of 215 miles, according to the car manufacturer.
Pitched as an ‘affordable mass-market car’, the vehicle costs $35,000 and is due to go into production and in 2017.
