Poland considers major merger
Poland’s government is considering the merger of the nation’s biggest oil companies PKN Orlen, Grupa Lotos and PGNiG to avoid hostile takeovers, according to Treasury Minister Dawid Jackiewicz. Together these companies have a joint market capitalisation of $14.7bn reports Bloomberg.
