HM 67: Guidelines for the introduction of chemical additives and dyes to petroleum cargoes on board ship
Introduction of additives on board ship can either be directly to the cargo tanks via vapour control valves or during cargo transfer by via an approved injection spool piece fitted at the ship’s manifold (the preferred method). This publication provides guidance for additive operations relating to generally traded petroleum cargoes. It does not cover additives for chemical cargoes.
