One (expert) householder's experience with microgeneration and energy efficiency

Nearly five years ago, James Hoare wrote an article for Energy World that described actions taken to install micro-renewable technology to reduce the carbon footprint of a home. Since then, with huge changes to the microgeneration industry, he revisits the property and reviews the relative success of the initiatives taken.
