Navigating the complexities of the consenting process

In March, the Crown Estate announced the successful bidders for the world's first commercial wave and tidal leasing round, following the Round 3 offshore wind farm awards in January. Successful parties can now enter the process of developing their zones, the next stage of which is to secure the necessary statutory consents. Michael Starling explains what this phase involves.
