Energy giant teams up with food company to tap fatty meat by-products for diesel fuel, Professional Engineering, 25 April 2007, p 54
In US, ConocoPhillips and Tyson Foods have teamed up to produce renewable diesel fuel from the fatty by-products of beef, pork and poultry using a proprietary thermal depolymerisation technology with hydrocarbon feedstock. The resultant product has improved storage stability and handling characteristics.
