Recent years have seen the creation of Directives that set strict emission limits for combustion plant, coupled with the concurrent publication of Standards, regulations and guidance on the procedures, equipment and staff that are involved with emissions monitoring. However, whilst the subject may appear complex, a wealth of help and advice is available to those that seek it. Marcus Pattison, organiser of MCERTS 2007, explains.
