Measurement matters
The Energy Institute's (EI) Hydrocarbon Management Committee (HMC) continues to work closely with the American Petroleum Institute (API) on the joint development and harmonisation of petroleum measurement standards worldwide. A Joint Committee consisting of the API COPM (Committee on Petroleum Measurement) and the EI HMC representatives manage the work programme with projects being carried out by joint work groups.
