Kazakhstan is planning to attract some $21bn of investment into the stat's electric power generation sector in a bid to increase total domestic power generation capacity to 124.5bn kWh by 2015, writes Gordon Feller. the country produced 71.7bn kWh of power in 2006, up from 68.2bn kWh in 2005.
