Water production logging in horizontal wells. C.W. Morris, C.P. Lenn and I.J. Albertin. J. Petrol. Sci. Engng., February 1999, 22(4), 217--227.
New integrated production logging methods of evaluating multiphase flow in horizontal wells are reviewed. Examples are shown illustrating the location and quantification of the flow profiles and fluid distribution in producing wells. This information enables effective treatment of unwanted wellbore fluid entries to be undertaken. 7 refs.
