Mining and primary heavy oil recovery projects are discussed. Production with the miscible CO2 method is up 4.9% from the previous survey and at the beginning of 1998 was about 179 000 b/d. Steam flooding is also considered. Tabulated data, bar charts, and graphical illustrations are presented and discussed.
