Note on conservation equations for nonlinear surface waves. S. Beji. Ocean Engng., July 1998, 25(7), 607--613.

A useful alternative is reported, which bypasses the burdens of the direct use of governing equations. The fully nonlinear version of the improved Bouissinesq equations is presented as a new application of the proposed equations. Consideration is also given to further use of the equations in developing depth-integrated wave models, not necessarily restricted to finite depths. 3 refs.
